I love being a dad. Nothing better than spending time with my boy. I think it's easy to get all wrapped up in what's going on with us sometimes. Almost missed out on one of the best things in life. When I went to grandmothers 100th I dropped in on a friend I had not seen in a long time. He adopted 6 kids, 5 of them special needs who were labeled unadoptable and were going to be institutionalized until they were 18. Best run family I have ever seen. Oldest one is entering the brain bowl. Had an 8 year old tearing apart and rebuilding electronic engines. More love in that house than you could ever imagine. I have never seen him so happy. Not for everyone for sure but the difference he is making in those kids life is amazing.
