This happened because the BCS does not exist to be fair, it exists to make the most money for the member bowl games. That's ok with me. Let's just be honest about that.
That's the only explanation, because no one can make a rational argument that this was the right call.

I agree. The BCS is all about the money. But I'm not sure what that has to do with the Orange picking KU over MU. Are you saying that somehow KU will produce more $$ than MU would? Why? I think you would have to ask the Orange selection committee to truly know.
