4) Two of the Heisman finalists will be playing in the Cotton Bowl, which will attract a ton of national attention. What's the national storyline for Va Tech/kansas?
5) Missouri will have a great presence at the bowl game.

Now THIS is the take of a thoughtful MU fan! MU is going to play in a bowl MUCH closer to home, meaning more fans can make the trek, AND they're playing their bowl in the middle of their prime recruiting grounds.
KU, on the other hand, has to travel to Miami FL and play an East coast team. The BCS basically did VT a favor: "Here you go, since you won your conference, you get to play a midwest team somewhat close to home (much closer than your opponent, that's for sure)".
I am actually kind of pissed... I was hoping for either the Fiesta Bowl -v- OU, or the Cotton Bowl: which is close / a relatively short drive.
