Not to the same team and by double the points in the 2nd loss....... That has alot to do with it.
Had MU lost to KU and KU got drilled by OU, Chances are that MU would be in the Orange Bowl instead of KU. That 21 point loss last night was a telling blow. MU had a bad game and got manhandled..... KU had a bad game and only lost by 8 points....... Had KU gotten that onside kick, KU would have beat MU.
Most MU fans fail to see this, it's the 21 point loss to the same team that is keeping them from the Orange Bowl.
For me, I'm thrilled MU lost last night........ The prestige of playing for a NC and the free press, the recruiting on the national picture was a plus for KU's ability to keep up with MU on a more local recruiting scene.
MU has had a fantastic year, alot to be proud of, they will have a very good game with Arkansas, right in the heart of the Texas recruiting trail, where KU, MU, Arkansas, OU, Tx,TT,aTm, and the likes to see........
Props to MU on a fine season........ Thanks for taking a whooping last night even more.
