Probably my own prejudices or ignorance.
In another thread I explain about how we're more of a traditional family. Difference instead of teaching them to be a housewife or sole provider we're teaching them everything.
Not buying my son a kitchen set is hardly "closing him to the world".
Furthermore, let's be real. There's typically certain roles men & women play in households. I doubt more than 50% of women cut the lawn. I doubt more than 50% of men wash the dishes.
