You can take away the long ball from great QB's, and they will more then happily drive down the field time after time hitting 5-10 yard routes. It doesn't look impressive, but in a way, most QB's get frustrated and try to force something. The good one's know they don't need to, just scan the field and hit the open guy.
Do you think he really cared that the drive took 12 plays instead of 2 when they were still scoring TD's on every drive?
Of course Herm probably wasn't watching the game, because his team wasn't in it.
