Yes, but he wasn't rated as a top six player. Bryant McKinnie was and now look at the two. That's my point when you draft for need you are more apt to picking a bust. ALWAYS draft the best player available unless you are stockpiled with quality depth-we clearly aren't.
WE could have had Bryant McKinnie all these years and had a great LT of the future, but now we have a defunct DT playing in a completely different city playing for what's probably his last shot in the NFL. See the difference?
