Competition should never impede growth. Quite the opposite, actually.

I don't think Culpepper's at the point in his career where he'll be stealing snaps from much of anyone.

If you are on the roster you have competition. Bringing Culpepper in doesn't help us in the least. We have gutted the roster, bringing in Culpepper basically says we're okay with old veterans, just not with the ones we had. I think the Chiefs are going to take a new approach for a change. How exactly did Culpepper help JaMarcus Russell?
