I think the Falcons have been married by the universe to this concept of "must take the #1 QB," simply assuming the #1 QB would be worth that high of a pick. If you're picking a QB that high, he needs to have it all, and Ryan's missing just enough elements to freak the Falcs -- I'm willing to bet they go Flacco or Woodson in the second.
That'd be a great anti-carl peterson moment if we passed over Dorsey, especially if we take another DT.
