I think Lofton's a decent pick for the Eagles. It's not a serious need for them but it's such great value it's hard to pass up. The Eagles are a linebacker-crazy franchise anyway so I'd imagine they'd jump on the opportunity to take him on that alone.
I think they'd also take a long look at their sorry situation at LT and consider Tony Hills. Hills may not have the speed to be an NFL LT, but he's got a lot of upside so who knows. He's also an aggressive badass. The Eagles face a good crop of DEs against all of their division rivals.
Tracy Porter and Shawn Crable were also considerations I'd make in this situation for them, particularly Porter as Crable would just be a pass-rushing specialist for the Eagles at his size, and they just signed a darn good specialist in Chris Clemons. Porter however is a pretty talented CB and he's pretty good value, although they just dropped a hell of a lot of money on Samuel and they're comfortable with their CB corps.
I'd say they'd go with Hills, but Lofton is not unrealistic.
