It's more complicated than that, and it's why drafting is an art, not a science. RB is not a valuable position. If a TE has a draft grade of 100, you shouldn't draft him over a DE with a grade of 98, for the same reason that a team would be foolish to take McFadden so early. RBs don't have near the longevity that a DE, DT, LT, LB, or QB does.
Unless you have a Barry Sanders like talent, it's foolish to pick a RB in the top 5, IMO.
