If you ask me, the Patriots' choice here is really obvious to me.
The third best OLB prospect for the 3-4 is still on the board. Shawn Crable is a crazy ass deal for the Patriots right now at one of their most valued positions, and I think they'd be wise to go with it, especially since they're going to need to replace Colvin. He's also the BPA, in my opinion. Earl Bennett also makes some sense because he's the savvy kind of route-runner that Brady loves to throw to.
There are also a ridiculous wealth of LBs left at this juncture, and if the Patriots abandon the old-guys-or-bust approach at ILB, Wheeler or Bell are still there. I doubt they go Ray Rice because they'll find some pretty talented RBs as deep as the 5th.
I'd definitely go Crable.
