Casey is a backup, nothing more. If the Donks intend to start him they're going to kill themselves. Shanahan's said they're going with Nalen again this year.

Now, I don't think you're out of line because picking up an uber-vet instead of a promising youngin' does seem to be Shanahan's MO as of late, but I think it'd be smarter to have gone with Justice.

A two-year contract is not a vote of confidence. It's a "let's see what you got" type deal.
