I've been hoping the Broncos go in this direction this offseason. We're pretty well under the cap right now but next year looks to be spendy (Champ) but getting cap right and getting young is the way to go. I've been the first to pop premature chub at the prospect of a big name free agent coming in to contribute only to be painfully and sorely disappointed. I can only imagine how Bowlen feels having tossed that kind of coin at some of these turd heaps.
Right now my division hatred is aimed squarely at Sandy Leggo and their insufferable fans. They can all suck my pucker. I'm sure I'll work up my loathing for the Chiefs when the time comes but my day to day hatred goes else where right now. None the less, getting young on the cheap and finding talent that wants to earn their place in the NFL isn't a bad recipe.
Also, stick with Croyle another year and get into the Tebow sweepstakes. That's my thought for y'all..which I know don't mean shit. But I like Tebow, hate the Gators, like Tebow, he's a beast. Now the Chiefs will have to suck pretty hard in '08 to get Tebow but I know with Herm at the helm and CP manning the con you can get it done.
