New York Jets - A- (PHOG/milkman)
1. RB Darren McFadden
2. WR Devin Thomas
4. WR Donnie Avery
4. CB Trae Williams
6. QB Kevin O'Connell
7. SS DJ Wolfe
Darren McFadden fits with no team in the Top Ten better than the New York Jets, a team in dire need of some dynamic talent at its skill positions. The Jets did a fabulous job with their first three picks of fixing that unfortunate situation with three players that should bring a lot of flair to the NFL: McFadden, Thomas (a steal in the 2nd), and Avery. All three make this Jets team a lot more entertaining than they were before.
Trae Williams at corner and DJ Wolfe at safety will be needed tools, if Drafted a little late, as the Jets stare down the Patriots twice a year, and their secondary was thin to begin with. The odd pick here is O'Connell, with Clemens their hopeful QBotF and Pennington a reliable vet at backup. They already have a couple suitors for 3rd string, too, so I'm not sure what this pick was all about, but it's a chink in an otherwise great Draft.
