Henne to me is a game manager. He has most of the physical tools you want, but whatever intangible it is that makes a quarterback a 'winner' he just doesn't have. Some of that might have to go at the feet of Lloyd Carr, I think that guy was a black hole for an awful lot of talent in Ann Arbor, but even so I don't think I'd want to be a team banking on Henne to become more than he was in college.

The sad thing is, that's probably exactly the kind of quarterback that Carl and/or Herm would look for. A game manager who's tough and while he may not win you many games, he's not likely to lose many either.

I just don't think that's the kind of player you spend a high pick on.
