More than anything else, Fox needs to curtail the promos for its own shows. I refused to watch 24 for years simply because the over-saturation of promotional spots during the World Series made me insane.
"Strike one, and don't forget, 24 starts next Sunday. Ball one, and remember, 24 is just around the corner!" Then you'd get a 24 promo to start the commercial break, a 24 promo to end the commercial break, a pop-up promo, and then more pimping by the announcers.
I don't react well to that shit.
