I could not be happier for Pierce, Allen, and Garnett.
Three guys who've done nothing but play passionate basketball at their respective positions, played it well, and gave the league a good name in doing so.
Celts needed all three to bring it in. But no player has quite earned my affection quite like Garnett. That bizarre purge of emotion at the end-game interview sealed the deal. Garnett may have taken over Larry Bird as my #1.
