To address the OP more seriously, I decided years ago to rein in my tendency to express my frustration with other drivers precisely because I was worried that I'd throw a finger signal at a current or prospective client.
Also, an incredibly talented friend of mine died in an apparent road rage incident. I say that it was "apparent" because there were no witnesses; There was only a police reconstruction to go on.
Now my wife tells me I drive like an old lady.
That accusation doesn't bother me much. At least those old ladies got the chance to get old.

The multiple times that my very real dumbassery has come back to bite me shouldn't be revisited except from the fetal position, and I found that using a keyboard in the fetal position is damned near impossible.
