The only fielding ability that is not really required for second basemen is a strong throwing arm. Because the second baseman's position is closer to first base than the shortstop's or third baseman's, he is not required to have as strong an arm as the other infielders.

I know that. I never once said that.
I said, AND I CONTINUE TO SAY, in today's game...as of 2008...the majority of 2nd baseman have strong throwing arms...
Do they necessarily need to have a strong arm? No. Duh. But, AGAIN, like I said...with the recent trend of power hitting 2nd baseman...most of them possess strong arms...most of them were 3rd baseman or SS in high school/minor leagues.
And I'm not going to list a bunch of guys and say they have strong arms...I don't pull shit out of my ass like you...you have no idea who had a good arm out of that list and who didn't...you just try and look way smarter than you really are...for god's sake you didn't even know Soriano had a good arm in the OF...and he is one of the best out there.
