Primarily I find none of the characters interesting. At all. I can't even remember a single character's name right now after watching several episodes (except for the Colonel's "godfather" nickname). They're either bland or vulgar, but not memorable.
Perhaps it's not fair to judge this against Band of Brothers. Maybe the episodes I haven't seen yet are better. I just don't care for it.
