Sweetness, I found my General Humanities book on amazon for 75 instead of the 160 at the bookstore.
I have five classes, four of them are ITV (classes on the t.v. because there are four campuses). I hate those classes, luckily all but one has my professor in the class and not on another campus.

My girlfriend earned an assistantship which includes a stipend, so that should take care of books. When I was in school I had a job where I worked 39 hours a week (cheap ass grocery store chain). That gave me enough money for books, the commute to work and to pay what few bills I had. I had a Geo Metro which has a 6 gallon gas tank and got 50 mpg on the highway. Of course this was back when gas was never more than about $1.75/gallon. I also lived at home, so that was a huge help. Books were a pain, but I could afford them. If I were in school right now, affording a half hour commute plus $700 a semester in books on about $1.50 over minimum wage might be kind of tough.
