I think the D will look worse than the O. Last year, in games in which Allen wasn't wreaking havoc in the opponent's backfield, the defense was terrible.
Plus, Gailey is at least marginally competent; Gun is not. Without Allen around, Gun is going to get embarrassed weekly.
