Hell... Why bother scheming at all. Screw the film room. Don't even bother with studying your opponent. Let's intentionally throw the next 13 games to ensure we'll have the #1 pick.

I'm certain veteran players will still be on board with your rebuilding process afterwards.

I'm sure the stadium will still pack 70,000 people in on Sundays.

I'm positive that young players will still be coachable and amenable to your rebuilding philosophy.

we won meaningless games with a roster of losers that were purged immediately after the season....the very players you claim needed "morale" were cut by Herm.....

and what were we left with?

nothing but a couple of meaningless wins and no chance to draft a QBOTF.....but you got your oh so precious "morale"....
