Not to sound to negative or anything, but I really don't see Carl going anywhere this year. He has 1 year left on his contract and I doubt Clark is going to fire him one year before retirement after all the years Carl spent running the organization with his dad.
Now, I could see Clark getting so fed up that he tells Carl to stay out of stuff and just ride out his last year without making any decisions.
