I don't usually make a big deal out of it, standing on some soapbox and preaching. I get their attention, say "Hey, there's kids around. You might want to watch your language." Evertime I've done that, people have been contrite and ceased their use of foul language.

That may be, but people do get caught up in the moment, and I've been known to cuss like a sailor at times.
I think at a football game, you kinda go into it knowing that it's not gonna be all puppy dog tails and ice cream cones. Taking your kids to a game, and then asking people who curse to "stay out of their environment" is a little silly.
You kinda know what you're getting into... that's all.
