Concept draft time.
Here's a draft where we do little more than address the line of scrimmage.
1. DE Michael Johnson, Georgia Tech -- This team is in dire need of a pure pass-rusher.
2. C Alex Mack, California -- The best center prospect I've seen in a long time. If he slips, grap him.
3. DT Evander Hood, Missouri -- Penetrating DT whose sole job should be finally creating some havoc in the backfield.
4. QB Nathan Brown, Central Arkansas -- Phenomenal player at a lesser level of competition. If he looks great at the Combine, he's a threat for the first day.
5. DE Derek Walker, Illinois -- A strong-side DE who can play the pass as well. This team needs to get better on the DL, and get better fast.
6. OG Steve Rehring, Ohio State -- Massive hole-opener for LJ.
7. OT Eric VandenHeuvel, Wisconsin -- Another guy that has fallen because of an injury that has hobbled him a bit, but the talent is there.
