The only thing I found to be consistently effective is a large network of friends to meet people through. You don’t have to swap spit with these people or even know them well enough to invite to movie night. They just need to be able to vouch for you having a little bit of money, a vehicle, your own pad, single and not a complete psycho.

Pickup lines are probably less effective than “hi” in a big enough sample pool. Chicks know whether their going to sleep with you within 5 seconds of lying eyes on you. The only thing that changes that is a long grueling process of getting them to like you or large amounts of alcohol and neither is a sure shot.

If you’re looking for a random pickup keep in mind the 5 seconds rule and throw your um…accessibility out to as many as possible. It’s as much a numbers game as anything else.
