I would say Reeves coached that team well and certainly helped develop Elway along the way. He also turned Chris Chandler into a SB QB, no small feat. He's coached in FOUR Super Bowls. Not only does he specialize in offense, but he also knows the importance of defense in that he's drafted players such as Keith Brooking, Patrick Kearney, Karl Mecklenburg, Tyrone Braxton, and Steve Atwater to name a few.
Reeves actually PLAYED QB in college and then became a quality HB for the Dallas Cowboys for eight years time. He then went on to serve under Tom Landry as an assistant. Reeves, might not be the perfect candidate, but he certainly identifies talent well and can develop them in the process. He might be a good fit, to at least get us turned into the semblence of an NFL team, while developing our players for the long haul. Reeves is a good foundation coach.
