i have an 05 lancer and the last 3 years have been pretty good. I think it is because of the skinny tires just dig through the snow. It is easier in an manual tranny I think to really master the roads, but mine as been decent. I had a 94 eclipse before that and even though it was front wheel drive it was like riding a bidet out there.
