Mecca, alot of people hate most west coast and southern teams. Chalk it up to jealousy if you wish. The main reason is that these programs have an unfair advantage. Try selling a top notch recruit that lives anywhere outside of Iowa, to go and play college football there. It's tough. All of these kids want to go to Florida and USC. Why not, hot weather and hot women. The fact that USC and Florida don't play in the national championship game just about every year, proves to me that Meyer and Carrol are very good, but not great coaches.
