So he's trying to argue that Herm was so bad he finally made CP look bad? That's certainly a reason to keep him around
. I won't agree with his assessment that Herm finally tried to develop a QB. In 2007 he started the year with another toss away in Huard, and then threw Croyle into the quagmire that was left over. I believe that Croyle is very talented. He moved the ball very well at times despite the lack of personnel and the tainted scheme. That said he did not do a very good job of preparing himself to face NFL competition. Part of that has to fall on the coaches. Part of that is also the personnel. If Brett Favre was on this team he would have been knocked out by the fifth game.
