Because football coaches don't sit on their ass and collect a paycheck. They didn't become football coaches to do that. They have the ego and the intensity to put competition AHEAD of money. Sure, they want to get paid, but they BECAME football coaches to compete.
I would also like for you to show me where Pat Bowlen said they wouldn't be friends anymore if he coached the Chiefs.
