Shanny has said on more than one occasion that he really likes the young core of Chief players(Bowe,Flowers,Carr,Dorsey,Albert). Shanny has insinuated that he could not work for very many GMs in the NFL but did state that he could easily work for Pioli. Shanny has a great respect for Pioli's personnel work in NE. And Scott has a huge respect for Shanny's X's and O's ability. Shanny was one of the few coaches that gave the Bellichek/Pioli regime "FITZ" everytime they played each other. Both admire each other's work very much. Take it FWIW, but Shanny called Pioli soon after Pioli was hired by the Chiefs to congratulate him.

Granted no QB which is what he really requires but maybe he sees something in Tyler or lobbies for Sanchez
I think it is a pretty good gig for him.
