Could Pete Carrol be his "ace up his sleive" for coach? Just asking? But, just because he was at NE doesn't mean he has a relationship with Pioli????

Yes!!!

But, ususlly the coach chooses his staff and if he chooses poorly then he is not a good coach. The coach chooses who will play and how he coaches. I know top talent really helps that process.
