I dunno...my perception is that it would have been rather difficult for Clark to spit in his palms, rub them together and say "It's MY team now, bitches!" only a few months after his dad passed away (after 46 years of the LH way). I am not so sure he had an accurate read on the situation until after the 2007 season. He made his statement that 4-12 is not acceptable, and gave Carl, Herm, et al a chance to right the ship in 2008. IMO, he's a young guy who now
feels, and bears being the owner of the team.
Clark B+ for getting what we all perceive to be the best guy available.
