Shanahan does make a lot of sense. He knows the AFC West, he can develop a QB, or at least get the best out of them (Griese, Plummer).
Not only will he want to kill the Raiders, now he would want to kill the Donkeys. That's four wins.
Having said that, I'll be happy with whoever we get. Anyone is an upgrade over Herm.
