This guy coaches up linebackers like no one in the league, yet never gets hired for a DC job. If we are going to a 3-4, I would love to have him.

They are a linebacker factory, there's no question. And damn good ones.
It's interesting that his resume isn't very broad. Almost exclusively a linebackers coach. DE coach for a year or two, ST at Memphis for 2 years, and D coordinator for one year Arkansas State. Aside from this, always LB.
Makes sense, since this was his position as a player in the NFL, but, given his overall coaching time, it seems pretty narrow.
Wonder if it's the apparent lack of well roundedness that's negatively affecting his chances?
