At least that's the first time it actually hit me as something out of the ordinary. Ever since then, people have been very quick to go from discussing a subject to simply blasting dissenting opinion under the guise that their opinion is without merit. It's always been that way to a point, but it seems like people are "taking sides" more often these days.
