There is no telling what could happen? We could be a REALLY improved team next year. Or, we could stay status quo the same, or, we could improve slowly.
I would've never thought the Dolphins would go from 1-15 one year to 11-5 the following year.
i just want improvement regardless. Im looking at this draft in that way. Eventually I want to see the Chiefs win a bowl someday in my lifetime. What I do believe now, and it has me thoroughly convinced is that a team could be turned around in 1 year very rapidly and make the playoffs. Miami gave me some sort of belief in that regard.
And I also believe regardless what people or the so called experts/gurus say that there isn't any real good defensive players in this draft? I say that could be all just a crap shoot. You just never know? I find a lot of times that a lot of people and experts comments are primarily directed towards the top prospects in the country. Thats where a majority of the focus and attention is. Sure, thats why its easy to say this draft is weak for defense.
But I believe its who you "FIND" in the later rounds whether it's defense or offense. And that's what i would love to see.

Well, first off, the "parody" left the building with Herm and Carl.
If we had a few more vets we could probably do a Miami turnaround in 09', but we're really starting from scratch for the very most part.
