I also know that Herm Edwards was cut out of the equation even though Clark Hunt was loyal to him. And I know that half of the staff was cut. And this was clearly a decision that was not made out of loyalty and given how long Pioli ruminated on the decision, it was carefully evaluated. I'm not saying I blindly trust Pioli, but this is a clear example of a case where I will trust his judgment and will be evaluating Krumrie closely throughout the year to see if Pioli's instinct was right.
Do I blame Pioli for keeping Krumrie? No. Will I blame him by midseason if our d-line shows no improvement or regresses? Yes.
