Mecca thinks that Sims (Lions) was a better prospect than Curry. Scott Wright, who Mecca respects, had Sims as the 13th rated player in the draft. When I asked why is Curry ranked #2 in this years draft if he isn't better than Curry, I was told that he is #2 because it is a weak draft class.
Assuming that is true - that in a stronger draft class Curry would be ranked behind Sims in the 15-20 range, what does that say about Sanchez who is currently 6 spots below Curry? Would that mean in a stronger draft class Sanchez is a late first rounder? Why should KC reach at the #3 spot for someone who would normally be a late 1st rounder?
