Excellent article, thanks for posting. I really loved those old Royals teams. I didn't live there but every morning I would read the box scores over my breakfast cereal, the numbers telling me how Patek, Otis, White, Mayberry, Busby, Splittorf and the rest of the team had done. Lots of great players and I loved that brand of baseball. I miss those days.
