NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Michael Crabtree will be sidelined for the next ten weeks following surgery for a stress fracture in his foot.
He'll have a pin inserted into the foot. Crabtree has nursed this injury since mid-October in 2008, so it's no surprise to find out that something's seriously wrong. He will not work out at all before the draft. Crabtree's put a lot on film in Mike Leach's spread offense, but he risks falling out of the top 5-7 picks. He measured far shorter than expected on Friday and won't be able to answer questions about his 40 time at Pro Day. Feb. 21 - 11:53 am et
