Training to rep 225 is something I doubt any lineman does during a season those guys are going for max numbers more than they are the high number of reps. For those guys I'd be more concerned with their maxes are than their reps are, you rep for tone you max for strength.
Also guys with really long arms have a harder time repping.

I'm not a meathead, or a pro athlete, but I'm no stranger to the weightroom either...and I agree. Heavy lifting and explosives are how you get strong, but I think the stamina may tell more. An OT is physically involved in every offensive play...
But that's just in my eye, the maximum physical ability is important, but the endurance of that strength is what I'd like to know. I'm not that into watching 2 quarters of Chiefs football, only to see the second half wain. I'd much prefer a team that ran you over in the 4th as hard as they did in the 2nd - dominate the fourth!
