I was having a beer with an old friend who had done about 5 years on a drug related offense.
He went on a mini-rant about prison and how screwed up priorities are in the legal system. The basis was that he got 5 years for making meth(which I do not condone) and that prison was full of guys on 12-18 month sentences for Screwing little kids. He also suggested that even looking at a sex offender wrong got you thrown in the hole.(he was in solitary twice due to confrontations with kidhumpers).
His point and how it relates to this conversation imo.

Screw a 3 year old -18 months.
Ray Lewis....Involved in stabbings and death of human beings. No Time, still in league
Vick.....killed some dogs.....prison time, assets taken.....Banished?
