Where their stats equivalent? I dont think so. Not to mention hopefully you actually watched matt cassel play before saying this. The patriots o-line is way overrated, if you watched their games you seen that matt was constantly scrambling for his life, and it doesn't matter how good your receivers are if you cant put the ball in the right spots, cassel did that last year.
I dont know how many times i watched TT throw balls that weren't remotely close. Not to mention Cassel has more arm strength and accuracy, so in my opinion it is a big upgrade but maybe its the optimist in me.
