As one of the country's top unsigned seniors, Cousins can now turn his attention to selecting a college. He initially committed to play for UAB coach Mike Davis, regardless of where Davis will be coaching next season, but he has since re-opened his recruiting.
He said he's now narrowed his choices to
Memphis, North Carolina State, Missouri and Kansas State. He also said UAB is "out of the question," but Davis attended last week's game in Birmingham in what has to be a demonstration that he hasn't given up.
Cousins will play later this spring in two national all-star games — the Jordan Brand Classic in New York and the McDonald's All-American Game in Miami — and plans to take several official visits before the April signing period begins. He said he has not yet scheduled any visits.
