Thank you. It's nice to know someone understands we do more than talk a little and play some tunes. Being on the air is such a small part of the job. I sometimes refer to it as break time. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I dig ditches or do hard labor, there are plenty of people who work a lot harder... but the hours are often long, the pay often small and not just anyone off the street can do it as so many seem to believe.
All the stuff that you hear on the air doesn't get there magically... someone has to put it all together. Plus all the stuff that doesn't necessarily make it on the air but still has to be done. Luckily I love doing it so I accepted being poor long ago.
