The parking garage that my building (down on 3rd Avenue where parking is at a premium anyhow) used was a multi-level, private garage next door with whom the landlord had a deal. His rationale for the increase was an increase in his costs. But, the fees were almost double which didn't make a whole lot of sense. So, we asked that he show us what his costs for parking were. A very simple request.

In Mr. Rain Man's case, the increase is pretty dramatic, don't you think? From $400 to $2100? For common area maintenance? Something's up, peep.
